Education projects are unforgiving on programme. The summer holiday is twelve weeks. If the partitions are not up by week four, the ceilings are not in by week eight, and the school is not back in by September.
We deliver across the full education spectrum: primary, secondary, sixth form, FE, HE and specialist SEND provision. The work is split between summer-shutdown refurbishments inside live schools and new-build framework schemes for the Department for Education.
What gets installed
Acoustic separating walls between teaching spaces, BB93-compliant absorbing ceilings, impact-rated linings to circulation walls, robust corner protection, and partitions to the dimensional and finish standards in the DfE Output Specification.
Live-school working
Where work happens around occupied teaching, our supervisors are briefed on the school’s safeguarding policy. Operatives are DBS-checked where required. Site set-up keeps construction routes separate from pupil routes. The headteacher gets the same single point of contact as the main contractor’s PM.
