Our Quality & Compliance Manager Amy Buckland was invited to sit on the panel at Nottingham Women in Construction’s first event of its kind, a panel discussion focused on ‘Women on the Tools’.
Amy joined a line-up of women working across the trade to share their experiences, the routes that brought them into construction, and what the day-to-day really looks like.
Here’s what the organisers had to say:
Amy Buckland BSc (Hons) IRCA Internal Auditor, Quality & Compliance Manager at Trent Valley Contracting Ltd, who provided valuable insight into quality management and compliance within construction projects.
Thank you to our panel speakers for their honesty, enthusiasm and willingness to share their stories. Your experiences inspired everyone in the room and showcased the many different pathways available within our industry.
Quality and compliance is at the heart of everything we do here, and Amy is the person making sure of it day in, day out. Hearing her speak to a room about that work, and about how women are getting on, succeeding and shaping the trade, is something we’re proud of.
Thanks to Nottingham Women in Construction for putting the event on, and for the platform.
